Peoria Chiefs Scout Night
Friday, June 7, 2013
Game Time:  7:00 PM

Tickets are $7.00 per person.  Family members are welcomed and encouraged!
The Pack pays for scouts that participated in the popcorn fundraiser. 

Optional Campout - there is an option campout on the field after the game.  The cost is $12.00 per person.  The Pack will pay for $7.00 towards the cost of the campout for the scout.  The price includes the game ticket, pre-game parade, late night snack, movie on the video board, and juice, coffee, & doughnuts in the morning.

Every scout should of received a 2013 Summer Camp Registration Packet via mail, by now.  If your scout has not received one please contact me immediately, so I can get one to you.

 

Please read through the packet and if you choose to have your scout attend one of the 2013 Summer Camps offered, please help me in getting the following forms. I will need the following turned in at the April Pack Meeting - Thursday, April 25th at St. Louis: 
(1) Registration form,  
(2) Medical Record Form (please attach a copy of your insurance card to the Medical Record form) and
(3) Proper payment(please see discount chart below) 

If you can not attend the Pack Meeting, please contact me and I can try to meet up with you. 

We will be turning in all registrations as a Pack by May 1st and taking advantage of the Early Bird Discounts.  
After May 1, camp registration need to be turned in directly to Council and the regular fee ($20 more) will apply.

 

Popcorn Discount Information:
If your scout sold popcorn.... the chart below shows his discount applied to camp registration.  This amount can be applied to one Summer Camp of your scouts choice.  Dates and info are listed in the Registration Packet.

NOTE: Fee is capped at $75 for all scouts, this is the Early Bird Fee for Day Camp. Example: Scouts selling $800 or more will be attending Day Camp FREE or can apply $75 to another camp.

Camp Registration Coordinator 

Pack 4151's "Reimbursement Policy" is effective for all pack and den functions requiring payment of a fee.

The Reimbursement Policy is simply:
If a Scout signs up for an event, but does not attend the event, the Scout must reimburse the Pack for any and all event fee(s) paid by the Pack.

Example:
Event: Scout Hockey night: Ticket costs $10/ea. Pack Committee pays $10 of the scout's ticket fee. Johnny signs up and the $10 is paid by the committee. Johnny does not attend the event. Johnny's family is required to pay the committee the $10.

Note: Pack Committee contributions based upon approval of the committee per event and vary per event. Event fees are typically listed with each event's registration/ sign up sheet, as approved by the committee.

Note:  Events such as but not limited to Day Camp, Chiefs Game, Rivermen Game, Pinewood Derby Kit, etc, the Pack will pay for the cost of the Scout's fee providing the Scout participated in the fall Popcorn fundraiser.

Please see the document attached for uniform requirements for Pack 4151 and approximate cost. 

Each scout should have an appropriate shirt, neckerchief, slide, belt/belt buckle, and hat.  Appropriate insignias such as the Council Patch, World Crest Patch and Pack numbers should also be on the shirt.

Pack number patches (4151) are available for $4.00.  Contact Linnea Campbell at 815-875-1635 or campbell9592@comcast.net.

The pack does have a small supply of used shirts, hats, etc.  Please contact Diane Bartolucci at 815-646-4421 to see if your needed item is available.

An updated information sheet on the Academic/Sports belt loop and pin program is attached. 

Note that in 2012-13, a scout may earn two belt loops/pins per month.
